The twelve speed is a very small gear box I am using it for a RC conversion of a 1/15 Motor cycle and sidecar

Very nicely done there Gizmo! How's the performance with that Mabuchi FA-130 motor, being that it's rated at 1.5-3 Volts and you seem to what appears to have it hooked up to a 6 pack of "C" batteries?

Any in-line suppression to the motor to help it last longer and not to SCREAM the bearings and brushes right out of the can? ;)

Are there anymore pics of it? You got my curiosity going seeing since I will not be building the truck I was planning on, but maybe one of these? ;D

The motor is the same size as those on tamiya recoil units etc I put a metre across those and found they were running at close to 7.v volt. I had some spare motors so I changed the 3 v motor for a tamiya one.
I have only run it on flat ground, but I selected a slower speed from the gearbox ratios it seems to have sufficient torque.

Aaaah, so it's not the stock motor that comes with the gearbox. I didn't think it was. Good thing for others that I pointed that out. ;D
