as I was putting the Pershing back together after filling the road wheels with epoxy resin one of the front mounting screw inserts for the upper hull was turning as I did up the screw on the drivers side, so I had to strip off the return rollers and shock mountings to get the bracket out of the tank so that i could re-fix the nut insert by inserting it in to a vice and pressing the fitting home also I dot punched around the edge of the mounting hole to try and hold it in place

some information on what I did since I built the tank two years ago to try and get the turret to rotate without it stalling
I glued up the slipper clutch in the turrets rotation gear with Araldite epoxy resin
other pershing tankers have swapped them out for the blue gears you get in the gearbox and motor kit
also I made all of the wires from the turret into one loom using cable ties and feed it in to the turret so that most of it is in the turret

well I have spent this afternoon (off Sick) making my pershing a "Legal" tank by putting the Emitter in a tube and it is 9mm from the front of the mantle. It was mounted directly to the front of the mantle

Nice, that looks great!....I mounted mine in the 30cal location on the other side of the gun. This allows you to shoot while the apple is still covered if you play it right. I noticed a lot of the tiger 1's did this( mounting the emitter on the other side of the turret than the apple was mounted).
